Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. No cracks, chips or major scratches. This radio is over 70 years old but still looks and sounds great! No cabinet repairs or repaints performed. None needed. All original everything. Knobs are original and securely attached. Cute blue dial! All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. The clock glass dial is clear no cracks no hazing no yellowing. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. Original gold brass color metal clock surround is shiny with no tarnish and rub off. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. There is no loud or pervasive hum.
