DESCRIPTION: Beautifully marbled example of a General Electric Model 535 with no chips or major scratches! Tight hairline crack front top edge. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1952 excellent+ working and physical condition. This radio is mid century post modern looking. It is difficult to find surviving examples without missing clock knobs. You can easily find this model online but not always with all the knobs. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. Excellent post war design! Looks sleek and clean in my opinion. The volume knob is original matching taupe colored plastic securely attached. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is quiet. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm works, Alarm set works. Clock set works. Sleep function works. The brass colored metal clock surround is a nice classy touch. The clock face is a pale blue and white. Very pretty. This radio is over 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. No dial light not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. The tuning and volume dials work fine. The tubes are working fine. The power cord and plug is thick factory original with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
