DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1955 time frame in excellent working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations very clearly and very loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded black color Bakelite with blood orange factory painted front grill. No cracks, chips, or major scratches or missing pieces. Front blood orange red grill is in excellent condition with no paint chips, rub off or fading.

KNOBS:  Original factory matching clear plastic tuning and and volume knobs. No missing gold metal inserts. Factory original clock knob.

LOGO: No missing logos. Front center grill Zenith crown logo is in excellent condition.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning or clock dial lights. Not designed with this one. But can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent, no humming, no grinding, no ticking noises. Clock and alarm time set function works. Radio alarm only no alarm buzzer. No sleep timer.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: backing board is in excellent condition. Usually these Zenith backing boards have fatigued or ripped pin attachment holes. This backing board is stiff and no ripped backing attach holes. All original t-pins . 

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Bottom factory label is intact
