DESCRIPTION: This Bulova radio has a fine jewelry look to it. High quality manufacturing is apparent inside and out. Rare and unique model from this world famous watch and clock company. Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio  manufactured by Bulova in 1957 timeframe in near mint condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in near mint condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches. There are a few temperature cracks on the bottom front edge. This radio is over 50 years old! All original everything. Original factory molded Bakelite color. No repaints. No over spray No touch up. None needed. Front gold metal grill is original with no cracks, no chips, no dings. No oxidation or rust. No greening. The knobs are in excellent condition. No chrome paint wear, no oxidation and no paint rub off on the knobs. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in excellent condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
