DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1959 time frame in excellent working and physical condition. Very popular late fifties step design in original factory molded pink color. No repaints, touch ups, over sprays. None needed. No cracks, no chips, no major scratches. Clean as a whistle inside and out. Picks up AM stations up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 60 years old!  No missing labels. The knobs are in very good condition and securely attached. These knobs normally show rust and tarnish due to normal wear and age but not on this one. The edges of these GE knobs often look chewed up like a dog toy but not on this one. The metal caps are shiny with very little tarnish and oxidation. The black dial face has no cracks. The paint behind the clear clock face is in very good condition. The radio tuning bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. All two little clock knobs are original and securely attached. Clock motor has a low hum. The clock set screw is not missing its knurled knob in back which common. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Snooze button on top works, Sleep timer works. The tubes are working fine. The dial light works. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The original power cord is in excellent condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
