Turquoise and White 1959 Travler Model T-204 AM Tube Radio Cute As A Button!

DESCRIPTION: This antique radio was manufactured and marketed by Travler as Model T-204 in 1959 time frame. These vintage radio models were usually molded in black or white. Sometimes the grills are factory painted blue, pink or yellow. A wonderful vintage tabletop vacuum tube AM radio in excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The cabinet is original shiny white ivory plastic. Absolutely stunning color combo! Original factory molded color through and through.  No cracks or major scratches. There are two chips that are noticeable along the front edge of the grill.  The iconic tri-star tuning knob is original and securely attached in good condition though there is some discoloration to the bronze tri-star due to normal use. This retro radio is almost 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. There are no smudges or rub-off on dial lettering. The Trav-ler grill logo is in fair condition intact but faded. The kitschy-est of kitsch! The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The new replacement power cord and new polarized plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The antique radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
