Sandy Beige Ivory 1964 Silvertone Mid Century Vacuum Tube AM Radio Sounds Great! Excellent Condition!

DESCRIPTION: This vintage tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by Admiral in 1964 is in excellent working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded in tan beige plastic back and ivory white front. No cracks, abrasions, major scratches or missing pieces. No repaints no touch-ups no over sprays. The front black tuning panel is clear transparent with no cracks chips, or hazing. All the lettering is still clear and legible. Sliver paint edges are partially rubbed off. Front raised grill section serves as a handle from the back. Very functional!

KNOBS: Tuning knob is factory original, clear plastic, and securely attached with original metal center insert. Black volume knob is original in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine. No scratchy sounds. 

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light not designed with one.  But can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

POWER CORD: The power cord and plug are excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
