Linen Ivory White 1960 Zenith Model C519 'The Nocturne' AM Vacuum Tube Radio Excellent Condition! Sounds Dreamy!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1960 in excellent working and physical condition. This is a beautiful original molded in ivory radio with no cracks, no chips, no major scratches! Usually this model series suffers from chipped edges but not this one. Not repainted no touch up and no over spray. Knobs are original and securely attached. The volume knob is missing its original center gold metal inserts. Has been filled in with matching gold paint. The factory gold paint applied to upper and lower raised edges in front has slight rub off and greening due to age. Tuning knob gold metal insert is intact. This radio is over 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is silent. No humming, no grinding, no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. There is a appliance timer function in back. The top snooze button works. The original power cable and plug are in excellent condition no breaks no exposed wires no brittleness. The tubes are working fine. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. A very quiet set between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
