DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured Admiral in 1959 time frame excellent physical and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in very good condition. No cracks or major scratches. There is a chip on the front top right corner. Usually this model series develops heat cracks on top due to confined space and lack of heat vents. This example does not have a heat crack. All original factory molded colors. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. Very rare color combo. This radio is over 60 years old!  Little clock knobs are still present and securely attached. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing no cracks or chips. All the front face lettering is in excellent condition. Usually this lettering is rubbed off with normal use. No stress fractures, yellowing, or major scratches. No rub off rub-off in clock number lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. Original factory clock has a transitional appearance like it's from 80s! The clock motor is quiet on this one. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The clock and alarm set function work. Sleep timer works. Snooze button works. Snooze button missing the surround trim plate on top. No dial light not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. The original power cable is in excellent working condition. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Bottom factory labels are not missing, intact, and readable, with worn edges. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
