DESCRIPTION: In keeping with the spirit of St Patrick, here is a stunning green Emerson for your viewing and listening pleasure! The patron saint himself would have looked upon this radio and said, "My eyes are indeed smiling." Rare and stunning color combination. It's not often you find this original shamrock green color. All original factory molded colors. No repaints. No over sprays on touch up. None needed. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Emerson in 1956 excellent+ cosmetic and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Looks like a clock radio but it's just a radio. Cabinet is in excellent condition. The front grill has a small hairline crack along the top front edge. The gold metal surround trim is in excellent condition and securely attached. There are a few cord marks on the cabinet. The cord must have been wound around the radio for years and left a mark. This radio is over 60 years old!  No light light. Not designed with one. The knobs are nice white color in excellent condition. No cracks or repairs or repaints anywhere. There is a small edge chip on the front top right. Emerson logo is in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. In case you're wondering whether the inside is as clean as the outside, I restore and clean the inside as extensively as the outside. Look for yourself:

Yeah. They all look like that by the time I'm done working on them! And yes, that's the original circuit diagram underneath on all my projects which use as reference.

There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are replaced and in working condition. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
