CORAL Pink Mid Century Retro Vintage 1959 Arvin Model 957T AM Tube Clock Radio Works Great!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Arvin in 1959 in excellent working and cosmetic condition. Cabinet is original molded coral pink color. Not repainted. Not touched up or over sprayed. Not needed. The front gold metal trim is in good condition. There is some gold paint loss around the edges of the clock window. No cracks on the top! No cracks on front clock bezel. No chips or major scratches. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. No cracks, no chips, no major scratches. The tuning dial works fine no slipping. The power cable is securely attached. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Alarm works. Clock time set knob works. Sleep function works. Clock is silent. All knobs are present and securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
