DESCRIPTION: Rare and distinctive looking model from the Maison Bulova of beautiful Flushing, New York in rare original molded blue color. The pink version of this model is slightly easier to come across. The blue is exceedingly hard to find! Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Bulova in 1959-60 time frame in excellent+ physical and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in very good condition with no cracks, splits, or missing plastic. There is a cigarette burn on the top front edge. No cracks on top, sides, back or bottom. Original factory molded color. Not repainted, touched up, or over sprayed. This radio is over 55 years old! No missing labels. The push buttons work and are securely attached in excellent condition. The clear dial face is a visual riot of sparkling facets and silver and gold finishes! There is a small stress crack emanating southwest from the top right corner fascia screw. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. The clock runs quiet but not dead silent. The lettering all clear and crisp. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm push buttons work. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
