DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured Admiral in 1953 time frame excellent+ physical and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. No cracks, chips, or major scratches.. All original factory molded colors. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. This radio is almost 70 years old!  Original little clock knobs are high quality metal floret shape still present and securely attached. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing no cracks or chips no major scratches. No rub off rub-off in clock number lettering. Admiral logo is in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is quiet on this one. The alarm works wake to music or wake to music and buzzer options both work and go off at the correct set time. The clock and alarm set function work.  Sleep timer works. Power pilot light works. No dial or clock light. Both clock and tuning lights can be added for an extra charge. The original power cable is in excellent working condition. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Bottom factory labels are not missing intact and readable. Original color matching Bakelite backing board is in excellent condition with no crack, chips or major scratches and securely attached. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
