DESCRIPTION: Wonderful industrial age radio by Delco. Design demonstrates creative use of mixed materials; Bakelite, wood and plastic. The original spring loaded clear acrylic handle is sturdy, practical and totally on the money! No cracks, chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet components. Wood finish has normal micro cracks and checking due to age not abuse or neglect. The original factory Bakelite molded in ivory color. Not repainted no touch up no over spray. This radio is over 70 years old! All original everything. The knobs are in excellent condition no cracks securely attached.  The clear plastic dial face has no cracks or scratches and is clear no warping. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Dial light lights brightly with LED replacement bulb. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time!  The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Original backing board is in pristine condition with crisp square corners. Looks new. Bottom manufacturer label is lost. The replacement power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
