Jade Green 1955 Zenith Model R511F AM Tube Radio
DESCRIPTION: This vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith is in 1955 in excellent condition. The cabinet is fabulous! No cracks, chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. No cracks on top. All knobs are original and securely attached. Original factory molded green. Not repainted or touched up. Original factory glossiness and sheen. Very glossy. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light tuning indicator lights brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The built in handle is functional and intact. The tuning dial works fine as designed. Some rust and discoloration on the gold inset of the right dial knob. Some scattered tarnish and discoloration of the gold grill, mostly on the right side. The power cable is securely attached no cracking, splits, or exposed wiring. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
