Tabletop tube AM clock radio manufactured by Admiral in 1955 in fair condition and fair sounding. This is a four tube one Intermediate frequency transformer circuit design so performance is marginal. Need strong signal in order to receive. Able to receive one or two stations. Better as Bluetooth player not radio. Bluetooth plays loud and clear. Cabinet back is original molded avocado green color. Front is a pea green molded color no painted. Hairline cracks on sides. All original everything! No repaints, repairs, or substitutions. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. Clock works, keeps accurate time, and is very quiet no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm works. Sleep function works. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are securely attached. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
