CORAL PINK Mid Century Retro Antique 1958 Philco Model F815-124 Tube AM Radio Totally Restored!

DESCRIPTION: RARE tabletop tube AM radio alarm manufactured by Philco in 1959 timeframe in excellent+ working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The radios of this period mimic the cars with contrasting colors, oblique angles, and metal trim. This radio was cared for and maintained throughout its life. This radio is in excellent condition with no cracks, splits, or missing plastic. There is a cigarette burn on the left top edge. There are light scratches throughout on the edges but nothing major. Then coral pink is original factory molded color. No modifications, repaints, or repairs to cabinet. None needed. This radio is over 50 years old!  Not missing labels on front speaker grill. The front 'Philco' gold raised lettering is in good condition with most of the paint still there but slightly faded. The knobs are in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. The dial light is new and lights up brightly. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in good condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
