Pretty in Pink 1950s Philco AM Vacuum Tube Clock Radio Rare Never Before Seen Lighted Tuning Knob!
DESCRIPTION: Rare and beautiful pink Philco in excellent condition! Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in 1959 in excellent+ working condition. No chips or major scratches. The top has two hairline cracks along the back middle. Cabinet is original factory molded glossy pink color. No exterior repairs or repaints. None needed. This radio is over 60 years old! This vintage radio picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The tuning dial works fine. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. Never before seen lighted tuning knob! Little pilot bulb comes on when radio is powered on. The clock face is original. Clock face is not lighted when radio is turned on but can be added for extra charge. No missing little clock knobs. The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with high quality modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is intact with crisp square corners. Bottom factory labels are mostly there and legible. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
