Ranger Green Vintage 1956 Philco Model D593-124 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Rare Sweet Color and Sounding!
DESCRIPTION: Sweet little Philco design in a rare cute color! Tabletop tube radio manufactured by Philco in the 1956 very good physical and working condition. No chips or major scratches anywhere on the cabinet! There is a hairline crack on the top from the back edge. This vintage radio is in the original factory molded green color plastic. Not repainted no touchup no overspray. Original factory metal gold screen is intact with unfaded green accent lines not rubbed off. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing and securely attached. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. This radio is over 65 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. The original bottom label is intact. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The power cord is original in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. Backing board is not missing securely fastened. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
