Timber Brown Bakelite 1946 Crosley Model 66-TA Vacuum Tube AM Shortwave Radio Frequency Reception King! Loud and Clear!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM shortwave vacuum tube radio manufactured by Crosley in 1946 in excellent working and physical condition. This was the radio you bought after WWII if you wanted to hear the news coming in from Europe and couldn't wait for the morning papers. In other words, Twitter feed from the 40s.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and shortwave stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded brown Bakelite cabinet in excellent condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. Not repainted, no touch up not over sprayed. Front plastic clear cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, major blemishes, or discoloration and securely attached. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.
