DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Coronado in the early 1940s time fame in excellent working and fair physical condition.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original hand crafted wood. The factory original finish is uniformly weather checked all over. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces in wood construction. Some chipped veneer along edges and corners. Not repainted, no touch up, no over spray. There is a major scratches or abrasions. Clear tuning window is not cracked, no chips, yellowed with age, securely attached. Original grill fabric is not ripped, no water stains, not separated along edges.

WORKING CONDITION: Picks up AM and shortwave stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Really impressive shortwave receiving capabilities if you attach an antenna wire.

LOGO: No missing logos. Coronado front decal is faded not completely rubbed off.

KNOBS: The original tuning knobs are all matching in excellent condition no cracks no chips securely attached.

LETTERING: No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial numbering. The tuning dial works fine no slipping or sticky spots.

DIAL LIGHT: Dial lightworks and lights brightly.

SOUND QUALITY: Plays like a champ! There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All out of tolerance paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

BACKING BOARD: Factory original backing board is in excellent condition. 

POWER CORD: The brand new power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

FACTORY LABEL: Not sure if missing factory labels.
