BEAUTIFUL Wood Art Deco Retro 1946 Philco 46-132 AM Tube Farm Radio Works!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube radio manufactured by Philco in the 1946 timeframe still in excellent+ condition. Not sure if this radio is working. It is a battery operated design and I haven't modified the circuitry to accept line voltage.Excellent classic design! Front grill fabric is in excellent condition no tears, rips, splits or fraying. Red oak polished cabinet is glossy condition. The knobs are original matching brown bakelite securely attached. The grill fabric is solidly attached. This radio is over 70 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. The dial is transparent clear plastic in very good condition with slight yellowing no cracks. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The original back panel is in very good condition. The tuning and volume dials turn fine. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. When this radio was new, Harry S Truman was president! This thing belongs in a museum!
