DESCRIPTION: Nice wood Maggy vintage vacuum tube radio. All stations up and down the dial come in really loud and clear. This is a 6 vacuum tube 3 intermediate frequency transformer (IFT) circuit so reception and receiving quality will be superior to standard 5 vacuum tube circuits. So retro! Real wood cabinet construction that has been paneled with wood grain looking covering at the factory. Brushed aluminum fascia pieces are in excellent condition with no rust or dents or dings. Vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Magnavox in mid 1960's excellent working condition. No cracks, chips, or major scratches on the wood cabinet. The wood grained covering is dinged here and there. Knobs are original and securely attached. Knobs missing chrome paint due to normal use. This radio is over 50 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one but one can be added for an extra charge. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial numbering or lettering. The tuning dial works fine. There is a hazy splotch on the clock clear cover by the bottom switch. The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is quiet on this one no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The clock and alarm set function work. Snooze button works. The replacement power cable and plug is in perfect working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Factory original backing board is intact and securely attached. Bottom factory labels are intact and legible. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
