Beautiful Pre-War Rich Curved Wood 1938 RCA Victor Model 95T5 Vacuum Tube Radio Sweet Crooner!

DESCRIPTION: Sweet wood tabletop tube radio manufactured by RCA Victor in the 1938-1939 time frame in excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with external antenna attachment included. Original hand crafted construction and design by Ingraham of Bristol CT! Ingraham made high end radio wood cabinets for Emerson, RCA, and others back in the day. This is not a modern reproduction wood cabinet. It is an original vintage wood cabinet and original radio as it was originally sold back in 1938! Curved wood with nice figured grain. Lovingly refinished from top to bottom and polished to a mirror shine. Front grill cloth is original intact no tears, fraying, stains or smells. Small section of chipped veneer on the left side towards the back edge. No separated joints or repairs. No cracks, chips, or discoloration. Original wood cabinet construction is intact, no warping, no separated seams. The knobs are brown Bakelite securely attached. This radio is over 80 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. The tuning and volume dials work fine. No slipping. The stations preset buttons work. The right most station button is standard tuning knob operation. The unit powers on and off with a definitive click. Dial light lights up brightly. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The replacement power cord and plug with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. If there was a backing board, it has long since gone missing. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
