CAPRI PINK Mid Century Retro Vintage Antique Motorola 1957 Model 5C13P Clock Radio

DESCRIPTION: This pretty lady is well bred, lived healthy, thought well of herself and those around her, and was smart. Look how well she has aged and maintained her youthful charm but she's still slightly prissy! Like Doris Day. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Motorola in late 50s time frame in good cosmetic and working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in good condition. No chips or major scratches on top, sides, or front. There is a small splinter crack on the back top corner edge. No other cracks, chips or major scratches. No discolorations or heat warping. No heat cracks. Yay! This radio is over 60 years old!  The Motorola label on the front grill has rubbed off, this is the only major detractor from the quality of this vintage antique. The knobs are in excellent condition. All the original little clock knobs are still present. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time for a mechanical analog design. The alarm works. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in stellar condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug is original no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.

COLOR: Pink. Like a carnation or shell pink.
