Egyptian Turquoise and Gold 1957 Bulova Deluxe Lyric Model 320 AM Clock Radio Simply Fabulous!

DESCRIPTION:  Bulova designers seem to have that knack for adding bling. This radio looks like a relabeled RCA Victor 8-X-6E in shape and proportions but it's not. It is uniquely Bulova. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Bulova in 1957 timeframe in very good working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in very good condition. There are tight hairline cracks on the top. Original factory molded turquoise color. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. This radio is over 60 years old! All original everything. Front gold tuning knob is jewelry looking with no cracks. No oxidation or rust. The gold factory painted volume is in excellent working condition but greened with age and normal use. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in very good condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. The power cord base is routed through a brand new replacement stress relief bushing at the backing board to eliminate future cord fatigue and breakage. No exposed wiring. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
