Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. No cracks, chips or major scratches. This radio is over 60 years old but still looks and sounds great! Still retains factory glossiness with minimal swirls and micro scratches. No cabinet repairs or repaints performed. None needed. All original everything. Knobs are original and securely attached. No missing factory labels or stickers. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. The glass clock dial is clear. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. Original gold brass color metal clock surround is shiny no tarnish no rust. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. No dial light. Not designed with one. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. The resistors were all within factory specification so they're all original too. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations.
