DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Olympic in 1957 excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 50 years old!  Rare model from Olympic in late fifties time frame in light gray. No repaints no repairs needed. Has many cracks and chips that have been repaired. Manufactured in Long Island City New York! How do you like that? Unusual huge clock face with orange neon lighted center circle clock face. Orange neon is a gas bulb that is always on as long as the clock is plugged in and never needs replacing! Original volume and tuning knob. Volume knob is missing center metal insert. The little clock on/off/alarm knobs are original and securely attached. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. Amazing this huge clock window is not cracked. No rust no oxidation on clock dial face. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. No chips, tarnish, or bubbling on the aluminum metal fascia plate. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. No clock motor humming, buzzing, or ticking noises. The alarm works. The alarm buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Snooze button works. Original power cord is in excellent condition with no breaks, splits, cracks, or exposed wiring. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
