Neptune Green Mid Century 1955 Emerson Model 813B AM Vacuum Tube Radio Sounds Great!
DESCRIPTION: Beautiful deep green urea plastic AM Tabletop tube radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1955 time frame still in excellent+ working condition. No cracks, splits, abrasions anywhere on the cabinet! No repairs or repaints of any kind. None needed. All knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Original factory molded green plastic cabinet is flawless and glossy. The volume and tuning knobs are original matching plastic securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is clear. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The gold grill metal is original and in excellent condition with no dents no dings no scratches. The tuning and volume dials work fine. Tuning knob is sold no broken mounting shaft. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The replacement power cord and plug is in good working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
