Classic White Mid Century 1957 General Electric Model 912D Tube AM Clock Radio Sweet!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1957 time frame excellent working and physical condition. Very popular late fifties step design in a classic white color that works well with most home decor. Original factory molded color. No repaints. No overspray. None needed. Factory glossy and shiny. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, splits, or missing plastic. No cracks on top. There are a few small chips on back bottom mounting screw areas. This radio is over 60 years old!  No missing labels. The knobs are in excellent condition. The black dial face is clear with no hazing. No cracks! The tuning bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. Original knobs show the wear of over fifty years. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time for a mechanical analog design. The clock set screw is not missing its knurled knob. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The snooze button on top is in near mint condition. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. The dial light works and lights brightly, though it does take a few moments to light up which is normal. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The original power cord has been replaced. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
