DESCRIPTION: This vintage tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by Admiral in 1964 is in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.  No cracks, abrasions, major scratches or missing pieces.  There is a small chip on the front top edge. Original factory molded color. No repaints no touch-ups no over sprays. The front clock bezel is clear transparent with no cracks or hazing. The tan clock face is in excellent condition. Knobs are matching gray, original and securely attached.  All the lettering is still clear and legible. Sliver paint is not rubbed off the raised Admiral logo. This radio is almost 60 years old! No dial light not designed with one.  But can be added for an extra charge. The tuning dial works fine. No scratchy sounds. The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock is quiet no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The snooze button works.. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
