DESCRIPTION: AM tabletop vacuum tube radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1950 time frame in excellent working and physical condition. No cracks, chips, splits, abrasions anywhere on the cabinet! No repairs or repaints of any kind. None needed. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present and working. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Original factory brown Bakelite. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. Solid construction. Gold grill cloth behind the front grill has a few holes in it. Volume works with smooth attenuation throughout its range. This radio is over 70 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is clear. No missing numbering. The tuning and volume dials work fine no sticky spots. Tuning knob is securely attached. Dial light works and lights up brightly. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The replacement power cord and plug is in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. Backing board is pristine in great condition. Bottom factory labels are missing. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
