BLUETOOTH MP3: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth MP3. Plays MP3 with cable or wirelessly from any MP3 playing device over 30 ft. New integrated Bluetooth circuitry available only through Retro Radio Farm is completely internal inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or receiver device! Switch from MP3 to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! Absolutely no noise from Bluetooth circuitry!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1953 in excellent working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. This vintage radio plays great with or without an external antenna attachment. This radio is over 80 years old! 

CABINET CONDITION: Original factory molded brown Bakelite cabinet. There is a hairline crack on the bottom left side about 1" from the back edge. No chips or major scratches. The gold front grill facade is in excellenrt condition but missing the tuning numbers ring. 

KNOBS: All original factory matching knobs are in excellent condition. Volume on/off switch works.  Center tone knob works. The tuning dial and pointer works not slipping no sticky spots.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Bottom factory label is mostly missing. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers have been rebuilt to ensure static free performnce in the future. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment. 

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug is in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or split.
