DESCRIPTION: Nice little wood Homestead vacuum tube radio. Never heard of Homestead? Neither have we. First one I've ever seen. This little wood radio has a seasoned look like an old blues guitar. Compact like an old shoeshine box. You can almost hear old blues or jazz coming out of this radio even when it's turned off! Rare as an old Robert Johnson photo. Safe to say that this is probably the only Homestead radio available that plays Bluetooth. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Homestead in very good working condition. Has a slight buzz at higher volumes. Cabinet is original wood but with thinning clear coat and finish loss evenly throughout. No wood cracks, chips, or major scratches. Little seam on the top left by the back. Replacement knobs securely attached. This radio is over 70 years old! Dial light works and lights brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine no sticky spots. Plastic clear tuning window cover is original no cracks securely attached no warping some yellowing. The replacement power cable and safety polarized plug is in perfect working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.  The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
