Bubble Gum Pink 1956 Emerson Model 876B Tube AM Radio Restored Loud As Heck and Great Sounding!

DESCRIPTION: Rare and stunning color combination. Based on the original factory molded colors. This radio has been restored and repainted in areas. There were several chips and material was missing on the bottom of this radio.  The top was in in excellent condition so I spent many many hours bringing this old radio back to life. This model and color is worth preserving. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Emerson in 1956 very good cosmetic and beyond excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This vintage radio looks like a clock radio but it's just a radio. The gold metal surround trim is in excellent condition and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old!  No dial light. Not designed with one. The knobs are nice white color in excellent condition.  Emerson logo has been rubbed off in areas. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. An odd quirk: this model has tuning dial  that goes to 55 to 160 kHz but the dial indicator only goes from 55 to 140 kHz. I've had several of this model series and they all do that. A funny engineering design over sight. Oops! All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are replaced and in working condition. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
