Buff Pink Mid Century Jetsons 1959 General Electric Model C-4340 Tube AM Clock Radio Totally Restored!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1959 time frame in excellent+ working condition. Very popular late fifties step design in beige pink color. Original factory molded color. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. Not yellowed. Evenly molded color from top to bottom inside and out. No repaints no touch-ups no over spray. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in very good condition with no cracks. There is a chip on the bottom by the back corner. This radio is over 55 years old! No missing labels. The knobs are in excellent condition. The tuning knob metal have small amount of pitting. The black dial face is clear with hazing due to age but no stress cracks. Please see the photo close-up. The tuning bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time for a mechanical analog design. The clock set screw is not missing. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The clock motor is silent. The tubes are working fine. The dial light works. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The original power cord has been replaced. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
