Carnation Pink 1959 Cavalier Model 562 Vintage Tube AM Radio Collectors Delight!
DESCRIPTION: Rare model in a great custom color from an obscure manufacturer. This is was a budget economy model back in its day so fewer of them survived. Rare manufacturer in desirable pink color. This vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Cavalier is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. There is a repaired chip on the lower back bottom corner. No other cracks, chips, or major scratches. All original factory molded color. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The gold metal button trim is in very good condition and the knob of this vintage radio are securely attached. No dial light. Not designed with one. Cavalier logo has been rubbed off in areas but it is still legible. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The original factory back label is intact and in good condition. The power cord and plug are original and are in good working condition. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
