CORAL PINK Mid Century 1959 Fleetwood Model 5018 AM Tube Clock Radio Bells And Whistles!

COLOR: Coral pink

YOUTUBE Video here. I live in rural Connecticut and there's only one radio station that comes in loud and clear depending on the day.

DESCRIPTION: This clock radio has all the bells and whistles! It's big and pink and stylistically verbose like a 1958 Oldsmobile like this one.

If radios could have tail fins, this radio would have tall fins a mile high! You have buttons. You want dials? You got dials! How about some gold faschia plating? Let's not forget the faceted stars! The final piece de resistance has got to be the push button indicators with red dots identifying the function you've selected! Dig the Cadillac looking 'Fleetwood' logo font! Tabletop tube AM alarm clock retro radio was manufactured by Fleetwood in 1958-59 time frame is in excellent+ working condition. This antique radio picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. There a cracks on the bottom both sides of this antique radio. There is a small stress fracture on the left side and on top. No other cracks. No chips or major scratches. Knobs are original and securely attached.  No missing factory labels or stickers. No dial light. Not originally designed with one. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. The tuning dial works fine. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
