Ivory Cream 1953 Capehart Model T-62 AM Vintage Tube Radio Looks Classy!

DESCRIPTION:  This is a solidly built radio with several costly features back in its day. It is a 6 tube circuit as opposed to the normal 5 tube. The addition of an RF pre-amp boosts the incoming radio signal. There is a color matching factory painted ivory bakelite back. Most radios from this period made do with a fiber board or cardboard back. This is a tabletop tube AM radio alarm manufactured by Capehart in 1953 in excellent+ working and physical condition. This is a factory original vanilla ivory painted bakelite cabinet. No repaint. No over spray. No touch up. None needed. There are several small flea bites throughout none bigger than a ball point pen tip. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. No chips, splits, or major scratches. The front grill is in excellent condition with no dents dings, or scratches. Knobs are original and securely attached. Missing the factory bottom labels. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent. Alarm works. Clock and alarm set functions work. Sleep timer works. This radio is over 60 years old!  All the dial numbering is crisp and clear. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. Part of the Capehart logo on front grill is missing.  "Deluxe 6" model designation on front grill is intact. The tuning dial works fine and is securely attached. No slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
