DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube radio manufactured by Philco is in excellent physical and working condition. No cracks, chips, splits, abrasions, or missing material anywhere on the cabinet! Original factory molded color not repainted, no over spray no touch up. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing. Backing board is intact and in very good condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. Clear dial plastic is original with no hazing or yellowing and no cracks. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. Dial lights up brightly. Gold metal surround trim on clock and tuning window are shiny no rust no oxidation no tarnish. The original knobs are plastic and securely attached. The tuning and volume dials work fine. No slipping. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. The original bottom label is intact. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Power cord and plug is in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
