DESCRIPTION: These urea plastic clock radios from Motorola in the late fifties are sought after for their unique Jetsons type styling. This particular model is very recognizable. I think this is one of the only few I've seen without any heat cracks on the top. This particular clock radio has not faded much at all so it is a true aquamarine color with a hint of green. Others I've seen have a darker blended blue turquoise color. The clock is quiet on this one too. No humming, buzzing, or cranking sounds. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Motorola in 1956 excellent A+ working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent glossy and in un-faded condition no chips, or missing material. The front metal gold fascia is in very good condition with very little rust, scratches or rub-off. This radio is over 50 years old!  The knobs are in excellent condition not faded. All the little clock knobs are still present. The clock bezel has a large crack that stretches across the top near the top edge. Please review the photography carefully.  Otherwise the clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. Also, I think this is one of the few I've seen without those eyelash cracks!  The clear clock cover is cracked across the top. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. No tarnish. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The clock and alarm set function work. The cable is strong and sturdy and thicker than most. Cord is in excellent condition with no splits, cracks, or exposed wiring. There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in excellent condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
