Cubist Brown Bakelite 1953 Emerson Model 641 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Sounds Amazing!

DESCRIPTION: AM tabletop vacuum tube radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1953 time frame still in excellent working and physical condition. No cracks, chips, splits, abrasions anywhere on the cabinet! No repairs or repaints of any kind. None needed. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present and working. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Original factory molded brown. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. Solid construction. The volume, tone, and tuning knobs are original plastic and are securely attached. Volume works with smooth attenuation throughout its range. Tone works evenly from high to low frequencies across the range. This radio is over 70 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is clear. No missing numbering. The tuning and volume dials work fine no sticky spots. Tuning knob is securely attached. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. No dial light but one can be addedAll out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The replacement power cord and plug is in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. Backing board is not missing no breaks no worn attach corners. Bottom factory labels are not missing. A previous owner (a long time ago) re-taped labels with masking tape which I chose to leave intact simply because of how long it's been there. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
