Avocado Green and Ivory Vintage 1959 Admiral Y1189 AM Clock Radio

Tabletop tube AM clock radio manufactured by Admiral in 1959 in very good condition. This is a great vintage Mid-Century radio. Cabinet is original molded ivory and avocado green color. No cracks anywhere! All original everything! No repaints, repairs, or substitutions. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! Clock works, keeps accurate time, and is very quiet. The alarm works on this antique radio. there is a slight chip in the plastic bezel of the clock on the top, please review photos carefully. Radio works well with good reception and low noise. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are replaced by a previous owner and is securely attached. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment. When this radio was new, tailfins were all the rage!
