DESCRIPTION: New Old Stock (NOS). This radio was bought in the 70s and spent its entire life unused in its original box. Box and internal styrofoam packing materials are in excellent condition. Little inside is the kicker. Addressed to Mr. Jim Allen, "Hope you enjoy your gift" written many years ago. Looks like the recipient enjoyed his/her gift so much they never took it out of the box! Solid state AM/FM clock radio alarm manufactured by Emerson in excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Cabinet is in brand new condition. Radio dial is brushed aluminum in excellent condition. No cracks or major scratches.  This radio is over 40 years old! The knobs and push buttons are in excellent working condition.   The clock bezel is clear and transparent. The clock face silver paint surround trim in new condition. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. No missing clock numerals. No stuck numbers. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Clock time set function works. Alarm set function works. Wake to music or raucous alarm sound. The clock works and keep accurate time. Alarm goes off at correct alarm set time. The clock motor is silent no audible hum not buzzing no ticking sounds. No internal repairs or modifications were performed for the sake of maintaining originality. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The power cord and plug are new original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
