Genuine Faux Wood Grain 1974 Westclox AM/FM Solid State Clock Radio Alarm Rare Film Strip Model!!
DESCRIPTION: Film strip clock numbers precedes flip numbers and was prevalent only for a brief period. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Westclox in early 70s time frame in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original faux wood grain plastic. The front grill is in excellent condition. No cracks, splits, chips or repairs. Knobs are original and securely attached. The sleep times button is missing. This radio is over 40 years old! No dial light not designed with one. The numbers of the clock are on a white on black film strip that rolls over tumblers. Cool design! It's not a rotating drum, or flip numbers. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All leaky and out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
