DESCRIPTION: Very few radio designs from any period look as musical as the DeWald Lyre. Absolute gem. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by DeWald in 1938. This antique radio is in excellent condition. The Catalin cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, splits, or missing material. The front grill in excellent condition no rips, no runs, no stains, no separation. The knobs are in excellent condition and securely attached. The clear glass dial face is clear not hazy, yellowed, or cracked. No missing letters or numbering, no flaking, no rub off. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Backing board is in good condition with crisp square corners. Original bottom factory label is mostly intact. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been left completely alone. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
