DESCRIPTION: Beautiful sky blue and white color combo. Very rare color combo! Graduated angular step design on the clock face is also unique to this Emerson model. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Emerson in 1956 excellent+ working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is in very good condition with repaired chip on top front left corner and front bottom right corner. No heat cracks on top. The front white grill piece is in excellent condition no crack or chips. No stains, rust, or discoloration, rust on gold clock face.
KNOBS: The knobs are in excellent condition and securely attached. Gold metal insert for tuning knob is not missing. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Factory original volume is in excellent condition with no missing metal center insert.
LOGO: No missing logo.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
CLOCK: The clock works quietly and keeps accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Bottom factory label is mostly intact. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
BACKING BOARD: Original factory molded color matching blue back cover.
PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets. Was probably used in or near kitchen for much of its life.
