DESCRIPTION: Here's a radio that will titillate your auditory and visual senses. This bug eyed Bulova dual speaker radio has a fine jewelry look to it. Provocative attention grabbing looks! Demands you look at it. Even if you don't, it's looking at you! Vary rare model from Bulova. High quality manufacturing is apparent inside and out. Sound that rocks the room! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Bulova in 1959 timeframe in excellent+ working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.This model is a dual speaker design. The larger speaker is 4" diameter. The smaller speaker is approx 2.5" diameter

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is in excellent plus condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches. All original factory molded colors. No repaint, no over spray no touch up. None needed. Scintillating front gold speaker grills are original with no cracks, chips, or oxidation. No greening or rust. 

KNOBS: Original thumb wheel tuning is in excellent condition with no cracks. Tuning number on wheel are not rubbed off. Left side volume knob is original matching pink securely attached.

LOGOS: The "Bulova" logo is in excellent condition.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.

POWER CORD: The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board. This model has higher quality plastic color matching molded backing cover with no cracks, no chips, no melted heat vanes. Securely mounted.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: All original intact. Readable.
