AM FM Wood Late 60s Triumph Model RK1000 Solid State Radio Sounds Great Rare Manufacturer!

DESCRIPTION: Very rare manufacturer AM FM wood cabinet radio manufactured sometime in the late 60s or early 70s. I was not able to find any info on the manufacturer or model.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. AM and FM reception is equally loud on both bands. The station frequency selectivity and sensitivity is excellent. There is some very faint radio volume heard even when radio is turned off so it's best to unplugged this radio when not in use.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory crafted wood cabinet with original billiard table green grill fabric in excellent condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. The tuning clear window is in excellent condition no cracks, no chips, no major scratches. The chrome trim surround is in excellent condition with very little rub off. Usually the chrome trim paint is rubbed off after the years. Original bottom feet are intact no cracks.

KNOBS: Original volume and tuning knobs are matching and securely attached with no cracks. The chrome paint on the knobs have some rub off.

LOGO: No missing logos. Triumph logo is in excellent condition.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: no clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set AM and FM has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition slightly hardened with age. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original factory backing board is in excellent condition. Clear readable factory printing.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: no missing factory labels
