Burgundy Maroon 1955 Zenith "Broadway" Model R511R AM Vacuum Tube Radio Beautiful Sounding and Condition!
DESCRIPTION: This vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1955 is in excellent condition. No chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. Small hairline crack beginning on the back top edge. All knobs are original and securely attached. Original factory molded maroon. Not repainted or touched up. Original factory glossiness and sheen. Very glossy. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light tuning indicator that lights behind the tuning indicator and follows rotation of tuning knob. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The built in handle is functional and intact. The tuning dial works fine as designed. No rust and discoloration on the gold inset of the dial knobs. No tarnish and discoloration of the gold grill. Immaculate. Back board is in excellent condition. Bottom labels in excellent condition no tears missing pieces or yellowing or water stains. The power cable is securely attached no cracking, splits, or exposed wiring. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The original power cord and plug are excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
